The Cedar Rapids Pagan Community is a group for members of all Pagan religions as well as those who are friendly towards Pagans. The group serves the greater Cedar Rapids metro area in Eastern Iowa by providing a chance for Pagans to meet one another, as well as a chance for good conversation. In the future, we hope to also be able to provide community service.
We are having coffee socials weekly. They are held on Tuesdays at 6:00 at Brewed Cafe at 1101 3rd Ave SE in Cedar Rapids (New Bohemia neighborhood). We often go to New Bo Books or go for dinner at Parlor City at 7:00. As this is a coffee social, please buy something from the business which is kind enough to let us meet. However, we also have other events which are truly cost free.
Our next seasonal event is Samhain Gathering (back at Red Cedar Lodge in 2013 and 2014) and then the 2014 Iowa Pagan Music Festival. We will probably only do a mini-musical event in 2013 due to a major UU event conflicting this year and the same people involved in planning/hosting both, but we will have a full music festival again in 2014. Please join us for this wonderful, all-day musical event. |
